Yet another All-Star Game that I didn’t watch. I watched "Firefly" with my girls, and enjoyed every minute of it. Great stuff.
The American League now has home-field advantage again in the World Series.
The very idea of an exhibition game determining whether a team gets home-field advantage is just ridiculous.
Anyway, enough of the negative editorial comments.
Everyone have a HAPPY COMIC BOOK DAY !!!
My thoughts and experiences during last night’s All Star Game in Pittsburgh.
The first 8 innings:
Scratch. Scratch. Yawn. Scratch. Scratch. Yawn. Yawn. Belch, excuse me. Yawn. Yawn. Yawn. Snore. Snoooooooorrre. Snnnoooooorre. Snnoooooorre. Fraaaap! Oh, excuse me. Yawn. Yawn. Snore. Snore. Snnnooooorre. Snnoooooorre. Snork! Snork! Snore. Snore. Snnooooooorre. Snnoooooorre. Snork! Yawn. Belch, excuse me.
Trevor Hoffman in for the save. Yankees got to him in the 1998 World Series. Has a change and a fastball. Yawn… 2 outs. Oh, base hit! Troy Glaus is up. Double to left! Michael Young is up. He’s real good. Strike one. Strike two. He’s a career .274 hitter with two strikes. Foul ball. Line drive into the gap! Triple! American League up by one!
Mariano Rivera in for the American League. Game over.
